As of Wednesday, February 13, 2008, it is our pleasure to announce that the Smokin’ Joe Frazier Foundation and the Gary Carter Foundation will work together annually in your national outreach efforts to enhance the “Quality of Life” in urban communities and develop “Life Champions” of urban youth in the State of Florida.

On behalf of myself, and the Board of Directors for the Gary Carter Foundation we are delighted to form this alliance partnership with all of you at the Smokin’ Joe Frazier Foundation in your national outreach efforts. It was a creative idea for the collaboration of efforts to expand our current “Upgrades” program through partnership with your “Project KNOCKOUT” within our program services.

We are excited to launch this collaboration with the 1st Annual Smokin’ Joe Frazier Foundation/Gary Carter #8 Foundation: $1.5 Million (Sponsor) Hole-in-One “Life Champions” Golf Tournament Shootout at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Florida.

As both organizations champion the cause to build “Life Champions” of the youth in urban communities, it will serve as a demonstration to other entities of the ability for organizations to collaborate together with those who are genuinely on a mission to improve the society in which we live.
