Good & Associates is a family owned business founded by Hugh Metheny. The Name Metheny has been a prominent
name in Maryland Business since 1639.
Hugh Metheny started his ad agency in 1970 when he invented the Rock and Roll Commercial Jingle and
opened his doors with Melart Jewelers, Philip York Limited Clothing, Computer Science, and Tastee Freez
as his first accounts.
His success is based on substance with actual working experience in EVERY major position in Mass Media including
General Manager, Sales Manager, Reporter, Copy Writer, Traffic Manager, Production Director, Program Director,
Producer, News Director, News Anchor, and Disk Jockey. Hugh is a Graphic Artist with first hand knowledge of most
Graphic Software including Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Express and Microsoft Office.
Hugh offers clients INSIDER KNOWLEDGE of how the Media System works and shows you how to take advantage
ad positioning, timing, motivational words, and trade secrets.
