Background:

The Arc is the world’s largest community based organization of and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It provides an array of services and support for families and individuals and includes over 140,000 members affiliated through more than 850 state and local chapters across the nation.

Background:

The Black School of Business is the business school of the Penn State Erie campus. Penn State Behrend has around 3,500 full time students enrolled and was established in 1948.

Challenges:

The main challenge for this site was working inside the template page for the overall Behrend page. I was only to make the school of business page and a short flash document. The page was to be put inside their existing template, which is the top and side links. This brought up many issues that needed to be worked around.

Background:
Former heavyweight champ Joe Frazier has a non-profit organization to mentor and teach children through boxing and other challenges. Their goal is to produce "Life Champions" through activities and programs designed for urban youth.

Challenges:
The main page of this was done in javascript rather than in flash, making it more accessable for more users. The site's colors were grey and dark red, mirroring the colors of boxing gloves.

Background:

Africa6000 International is a non-profit organization that ships bottled water to African villages, where the need for water is dire. The foundation works with the Pitt-Jolie foundation for raising funds and awareness.

Challenges:

The main challenge for this site was making a serious tone while still maintaining a optimistic feel. The issue at hand is very serious and sad, but the organization is trying to bring hope to parts of Africa where children are dying from not having clean water.

Linking to Success is a consulting firm that trains employees of other companies. They provide temporary staffing and customized organizational advice.
